I ordered the bedspread online, along with the pillow shams which are pictured above. We particularly liked the colours and the splash of red which picks out colours in our bedroom. However, although the bedspread is fine, the pattern varies from that above and the pillow shams are nothing like as shown above, or indeed the picture on the package the shams come in. There is no red on the pillow shams and also note that they fit large continental square pillows. To be fair this is the size stated in the website but I stupidly based my order on the pictures. It is therefore VERY important to note that if you buy bedding from Dunelm you cannot open it and look at the colour, feel of material etc and then return it if it’s not right. When you open the package it breaks a seal and if the seal is broken you cannot return. Dunelm did agree to refund me as they agreed the pictures are confusing but this is a lesson learned – if you want bedding from Dunelm, you should probably go and look at it instore. I won’t be buying bedding from there again.

has an awful smell out of the packing assume they have been stored somewhere damp – you will need to air them prior to using them for a few hours – i note they are now locked in sealed cupboards in dunelm – maybe this is what is causing the issue – Dunelm policy is no returns on open packs so cannot take back

I absolutely LOVE this beautiful bedspread. The colours are muted but lovely. It’s thin, but heavy. It’s fits my superking bed perfectly and there is NO odour? There are two pictures on the website, one where the bedspread is folded, and one is shown open on the bed. The patterns are not the same but the quality will be the same. I bought the folded one in the shop. It’s beautifully made and finished. I never use duvets and am always on the lookout for the perfect bedspread and, for me, this is it. Thank you
