I did have a normal depth of side sleeper pillow, but it was still too low for me and had to put a to a folded towel under it to raise it. Anyway it was time for me to get a new pillow and in my search I saw the “Extra Deep” Bamboo Side Sleeper, so it was an obvious choice. For me a side sleeper with wide shoulders this is great. No need to put anything below to raise it. It’s a great comfortable pillow.

Ive had another make before, and it was like a rock. this one is a bit softer, I dont turn constantly in night now . I do use a thinner down pillow on top for more comfort , but the premis is same.. there is still good support. I only chose it..cos it looked good in picture. lol. Ive had it a month now , and getting comfortable is no longer an issue anymore, and no neck/back issues . Its a buy and forget why you got it in the first place pillow. In fact id forgotten, until Dunhelm asked for a review. lol.

Love this pillow, firm and soft at the same time, if that makes sense. Ideal for side sleepers, keeps your head and neck raised at the correct height. Would recommend this pillow, not overly cheap but not extortionately expensive.
